Thanks for the response, [~wheat9].
I have checked as follows.
- build packages by `mvn package -Pdist -Pnative -DskipTests` and checked the
difference of the hadoop-dsit package layout. (show in above comment)
- build RPMs using Apache Bigtop (with some modification).
- install the RPMs to a small cluster on virtual machines and check simple HDFS
operations (get/put/ls).
