Thanks [~arpitagarwal] for the comment. I checked the code, and yes, this will
break the backwards compatibility if we don't allow null scheme, which we did.
As to the possible fix, is it safe to assume undefined scheme (null value of
{{URI.getScheme}}) is for file:/// ?
