Thanks [~aw], I tried the snippet you proposed above, didn't work for me, not
sure if I missed anything. Did you try it somehow? (maybe in another project?)
I would really appreciate if you could try on the latest patch here.
I looked more at the hadoop-project build, but seems it's not trying to build
hadoop-resource-bundle at all. I tried to add a dependency but didn't work out
either... (maven debug output shows {{REACTOR BUILD PLAN}} not taking
hadoop-resource-bundle...) I wouldn't be able to work more on this until
Friday, so if anyone wants to help out and unblock this sooner, please feel
free.
bq. is there some reason this is a separate module from hadoop-build-tools?
I think having the resource bundle dedicated for L&N, which will be bundled
into our package is clearer logically.
hadoop-build-tools, looking from its name, feels auxiliary, and seems not
needed to be bundled into the jars. (only checkstyle stuff)
