The latest release of Jackson 1.9 (1.9.13) is about 3 years ago, so I'm
thinking Jackson 1.9 is EoL. Now we are using two version of Jackson (1.9.13
and 2.2.3), so we can get rid of 1.9 without adding dependencies.
