I'm going to pick this up and get it moving forward again, unless anyone has
any objections?
Jetty 6 was EoL in 2010 (6 years ago!), so we should really do this. Hadoop 3
is a great opportunity to finally get this done. I agree with [~raviprak]:
even if we later move to Jersey, that doesn't need to block upgrading Jetty.
I've started looking into the code, and I think it will be doable, just a
little tedious to refactor things like {{HttpServer2}} to the Jetty 9 APIs.
