[~busbey] Thanks for all the hard work. I really appreciate it. I wanted to
ask you a related question. I build hadoop all the time and with this patch the
amount of time to build trunk has gone up from under 2 mins to 5+ mins on the
same hardware. Do you see the same behaviour ? I just wanted to check this was
not something on my hardware.
if it is indeed due to shading, is there a way to switch the shading off or
have this come into play only when we do a release build. The amount of time
spent waiting for a build is a massive hit on productivity.
So any tips on how I can get the old build speed back ?
