Sean Mackrory updated HADOOP-14181:
-----------------------------------
    Attachment: HADOOP-14181-HADOOP-13345.002.patch

Attaching a patch that expresses my passionate disdain for invalid regions to a
lesser degree. I simply diffed patch .002. against patch .001. to verify the
string contents was the only change, but I had run 'mvn verify -Ddynamo
-Ds3guard' and 'mvn verify' against the .001. patch and the only failure I saw
was HADOOP-14036.

> Currently you can configure a nonsensical AWS region for DynamoDB and it
> doesn't stop you - it'll just start using another region silently. I propose
> that we just check it's a valid region for the current SDK and throw an
> exception instead of proceeding.
