This may be fastest first just to revert to an incremental tree walk. What I
Don't want to have happen is people being told not to use this call, because it
delivers such a great speedup for raw S3; you can't even attempt a
{{listFiles("s3a:://landsat-pds/", true)}} in Hadoop 2.7 without the code
appearing to hang, there are too many objects in that bucket for it to handle.
