+need to also make sure that s3guard in auth mode works properly, which means
that when a PUT is completed the parent dir exists. A quick review of the code
implies this happens in {{finishedWrite()}}, but we need to include the tests
to make sure this does update the store, which means an explicit s3guard auth
test of committing work & verifying that the parent paths are all directory
records, and that the file exists
