Elek, Marton updated HADOOP-15673:
----------------------------------
    Resolution: Fixed
        Status: Resolved  (was: Patch Available)

Committed to the docker-hadoop-3. The first attempt to build it by the
dockerhub is failed.
(https://hub.docker.com/r/apache/hadoop/builds/bv8fhutgjzbbyndx3vhgfhe/). I
think one of the apache mirrors started to block docker hub.

I committed an empty commit to the branch to trigger the next build (mirror url
is chosen randomly at each build).

And finally:

{code}
docker run apache/hadoop:3 hadoop version
Setting up environment!
Hadoop 3.1.1
Source code repository https://github.com/apache/hadoop -r

Compiled by leftnoteasy on 2018-08-02T04:26Z
Compiled with protoc 2.5.0
>From source with checksum f76ac55e5b5ff0382a9f7df36a3ca5a0
This command was run using
/opt/hadoop/share/hadoop/common/hadoop-common-3.1.1.jar
{code}

Thanks a lot [~bharatviswa] the contribution.

> Currently the apache/hadoop:3 image is missing from the dockerhub as the
> Dockerfile in docker-hadoop-3 branch contains the outdated 3.0.0 download
> url. It should be updated to the latest 3.1.1 url.
