FWIW I think it's also fair to move this back if there is release scheduling
conflicts (e.g. 3.2.1). This shouldn't be rushed for any releases. It was an
overlook from me on trunk reviews, which Wei-Chiu nicely caught during backport
reviews. Appreciate Steve's commit and comment. :)
