hitting submit patch. FWIW, on a subtask, your patch name doesn't need
to/shouldn't list the parent, so it should just be HADOOP-15846. Jenkins may
get confused and try to apply this to a patch which isnt there (it's against
trunk after all)...if so we'll have to rename and resubmit the file
