[~owen.omalley], yes, I can do that. Because this stuff is based on the
existing createFile() code I'll probably add some more interfaces for the
parent classes too.
now, if you are into bike-shed-class discussions (which is fine, I take my
bikes very seriously), are you OK with the new stuff going into the
{{org.apache.hadop.fs}} package? Because the other home for it could/should be
the "store" package where I've put some other cloud store stuff. And while this
is more generic than just cloud, its there where some of the key benefits
surface.
Just a thought: now is the time to choose
