It looks like you've got native code enabled. Try building without native code.
My hunch is that it will work because most of the native code is not POSIX
compliant and features some incredibly unsafe code. (There's an exchange in
JIRA somewhere between an Oracle nee Sun kernel developer and a Hadoop PMC
member that really pushes this point home.)
