We started off with this, but the lack of timely releases of the JAR, shading 
problems meant we just gave up trying to keep it going:  HADOOP-14918 was the 
cleanup

For testing we have the in-memory one, for production. DDB. The good news, 
Amazon's "on demand" DDB option does work, so you can now have isolated tables 
for each store and not pay for idle time
