probably because the base class *generally* works, though given there are
subclasses it does seem to make sense to forward it.
github PRs against trunk welcome, with some
(not-to-be-included-in-the-final-commit) change in hadoop-hdfs source tree so
the yetus test runs will run the hdfs suites too
