I used this patch to successfully publish artifacts to the Apache Snapshot
repo. However, it was not possible to publish hadoop-assemblies since it
doesn't inherit from hadoop-project - not sure if that's a problem.
I verified that I could build HDFS and MapReduce with Ant pulling jars from the
Snapshot repo (ant veryclean jar).
