mukund-thakur opened a new pull request #1958: HADOOP-16979 set auth mode to false by default for s3 ITs URL: https://github.com/apache/hadoop/pull/1958 Since it is a test only change, no new tests were added. Ran all s3a integration tests in both auth/non-auth mode with ap-south-1. All good.
