@ferhui Thanks! And I was wondering if the fix I propose is satisfactory? To correct the rpcTimeout usage, now I just basically follow the usage of rpcTimeout in the constructor of hadoop.ipc.Client$Connection class. But I guess the value of timeout should be somehow improved.
