Nice question @smengcl. I think we should update compatibility guidelines (release notes in Jira) stating that since we are upgrading SolrJ to 8.8.2, it's good to upgrade Solr server accordingly before upgrading entire Hadoop cluster to 3.4.0 (assuming we want to keep this in trunk only for now). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
