+1, merged to trunk. Thank you for this Bobby -can you cherrypick the test from trunk, apply to branch-3.3 and retest? I just need to know that it works. There'll be no extra review unless there are merge problems. There would be major merge pain going back to 3.2; I'd like to avoid that.
