[~kgyrtkirk] Hadoop also uses this plugin already for restricting certain
imports (perhaps this plugin was not being used when you commented on this Jira
:)).
[~weichiu] I was actually planning to do this exact thing but realized that we
already have this Jira (based on a quick search). If you are occupied, can I
take this up? I am already working on upgrading fasterxml Jackson as part of
HADOOP-18033. Hence if you don't mind, I can take up this Jira to work on
pruning Jackson 1 from the codebase?
