Sorry for more delays, this work would take more time, I still expect ~3-4 more
weeks in the best case. With the changes done so far in my local, the branch is
having lot of conflicts with current trunk so first I will have to resolve them
before making more progress to avoid buffering up these conflicts until raising
the PR.
