Sorry for the late reply, [~kevincong].
I imagine you won't see it for your bucket as s3.amazonaws.com is by default
us-east-1. If you try with a bucket that was created in another region, I
imagine this is how we'd reproduce the redirect exception when using
s3.amazonaws.com.
