Ayush Saxena commented on HADOOP-18305:
---------------------------------------
Means docker env itself doesn't start? If you just do {{{}bash
start-build-env.sh{}}}, I tried it on trunk on Apple M1 Pro chip box and it did
gave me an env.

This is the standard Hadoop Developer build environment.
This has all the right tools installed required to build
Hadoop from source.

Now I can do a mvn build, I didn't do because I have never done that on this
machine and it would start downloading dependencies, just have Hive on this
box....
Can you give a check & let me know the exact error, will give it a check. if it
is only failing just on the 3.3.4, may be some missing commit, can be
HADOOP-17496 if it is due to python
