finally, why can't you upgrade? because if you want to use this with spark
(presumably), you need to have a recent version of spark to match. And the
binding code you need there is only built in spark-hadoop-cloud with the
hadoop 3 profile. So it won't be there *unless you use a version of spark built
against hadoop-3.3+"
you are fee to backport the feature yourself and modify your (private) spark
build to match.
