oh, I see. looking at the staging committer, it does call
wrappedCommitter.cleanupJob() which will delete the _temporary subdir under
that staging dir which is where the .pendingset files go, but the parent dir is
left alone. so although all files are cleaned up, dirs get leaked.
how about you provide a patch for this, with a new test case in
ITestStagingCommitProtocol?
