Patch does
* pass down the multipart option
* actually bypasses the xfer manager entirely if disabled or for small
files. why so? lets us get away with a far simpler hboss mocking.
* this splits upload vs copy, though they are of the same option; not sure
if this needed or not.
* note how S3AInternals adds a new probe for testing; keeps the fs leaner,
maybe.
