ASF GitHub Bot commented on HADOOP-19252:
-----------------------------------------

steveloughran opened a new pull request, #7001:
URL: https://github.com/apache/hadoop/pull/7001

Modified build to work with hadoop-thirdparty-1.4.0-SNAPSHOT, which is the
nightly build of that sub-project

   ### How was this patch tested?

did a local build of hadoop-thirdparty 1.4.0-SNAPSHOT -then compiled this.

   ### For code changes:

   - [X] Does the title or this PR starts with the corresponding JIRA issue id
(e.g. 'HADOOP-17799. Your PR title ...')?
   - [ ] Object storage: have the integration tests been executed and the
endpoint declared according to the connector-specific documentation?
   - [ ] If adding new dependencies to the code, are these dependencies
licensed in a way that is compatible for inclusion under [ASF
2.0](http://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-a)?
   - [ ] If applicable, have you updated the `LICENSE`, `LICENSE-binary`,
`NOTICE-binary` files?

The LICENSE-binary is out of date w.r.t protobuf versions in 1.3.0, as are
some of the build instructions. That "concerns" me -but is independent of this
change
