Hi all. I'm new here to the ASF, please let me know if this is not the place to
post a comment like this.
Just chiming in that the Delta Lake community
([https://github.com/delta-io/delta)] is very excited to see this work
completed. We would love to have default put-if-absent guarantees when using
`fs.create` ... `stream.write` ... `stream.close`.
I'll be following this issue closely to remain up to date on the estimated
delivery timeline. Thanks for all the hard work!
