Thank you for your question! and apologies for the delayed response. I believe
we need to perform a comprehensive upgrade, especially upgrading javax to
jakarta. We can create a new JIRA to handle this task.
Regarding HADOOP-15984, the goal of this task was to upgrade Jersey to version
2.x, and we have largely achieved this goal. Next, I will backport the PR from
trunk to branch-3.4 in the next few days, and then we can close this JIRA. If
you are interested in upgrading javax to jakarta, feel free to create a new
JIRA and drive this task forward.
