unknown host for newly createed s3 express bucket. Nothing too unusual, just
notable that the error message doesn't include it..The aws cli finds it, but we
can only reach it if the endpont.region is explicitly set
Implication: aws cli parses bucket name to determine region.

for the exact endpoint that is failing to resolve. If this is happening on an
endpoint that previously worked, there may be a network connectivity issue or
