My intention was simply to make sure we link that here cause it had a similar
topic and there may be key points of value we could pick from history. You may
reopen the issue to re-discuss, of course.
We don't disregard change, but we do like seeing proof that they are required.
Performance numbers, simplification impact examples, etc. are necessary
sometimes to get others to see your point of view, cause not one of us are
aware of all the tools and techniques out there. I encourage you to put forth
good pointers on _why_ a change is required and is beneficial (to the broader
community), aside of the change itself.
