[~cnauroth], I see this approach is definitely better than having to make
compatibility decisions at this point where we haven't jumped to JDK 7 safely
just yet.
I plan to go ahead with this and a write a shell snippet tomorrow. If anyone
has a better approach or any reasons not to move forward this one, let me know.
