Status: Patch Available (was: Open)
The latest patch strips out the test failing against S3, which is now in
HADOOP-9410. That JIRA shows the problem exists even when the changes to S3
rename are not applied, showing that it is independent of the patch here.
As that test is only applicable to Hadoop 2.x, this patch addresses all the
issues found for branch 1.x, to which it can also be applied
