Authentication service is used to authenticate users and services. The
authentication result can then be used to request identity token service to get
an identity token. The JIRA is to define Authentication service API, and the
pluggable framework allows different implementation. The scope of this task is
highlighted as following:
• Define Authentication service API.
• Define Authentication module API for both server and client.
• Define Authentication modules management API for both server and client.
• Define Protocol and procedure for authn module negotiation between client
and server.
