Daryn Sharp commented on HADOOP-10771:
--------------------------------------

I'll re-review and respond to your questions this afternoon. Will the
server-side changes have any immediate impact to webhdfs? That's my biggest
concern due to its mission-critical nature for us. I'll need to carefully
scrutinize the server side since I only gave it a quick once over.

As an aside, I thought token auth is moving to http digest auth and query
string based auth was going to be limited to webhdfs until it can be phased
out? This change appears to make query string support ubiquitous?

> HttpFS implements delegation token support in {{AuthenticationFilter}} &
> {{AuthenticationHandler}} subclasses.
> For HADOOP-10770 we need similar functionality for KMS.
> Not to duplicate code, we should refactor existing code to common.
