Patch looks pretty good to me, Tucu. Thanks for doing it.
Just one suggestion: recommend making it clear in the docs that the "*" value
can be used for any of the three new config settings to indicate that all
values are acceptable. You might also consider making it clear in the docs how
the ".users." and ".groups" settings interact with each other. In particular,
are they a logical OR of each other or logical AND?
+1 once this is addressed.
