*summary so far*
- AbstractContractAppendTest is (1) not being run (2) not capable of passing
- next step : Make it run in LocalFS tests as part of hadoops standard CI (high
priority)
- Also, make this specific task (testRenameFileBeingAppended) either : pass
*or* just delete the method entirely.
