Sorry what I said may sound confusing.
I understand that we are *NOT* upgrading guava in branch-2. As such, any change
that upgrades guava cannot go into branch-2 as is. But code changes that make
it compatible with different versions of guava can go into branch-2. I was
suggesting pushing those code changes to branch-2. On trunk, we can also
upgrade guava.
