Resolution: Won't Fix
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
Instead of adding a dependency on Thrift to Hadoop, copying this code into
those projects is probably easier to maintain. The Hadoop project needs to
build its message types, but that's not a problem it solves for downstream
components.
I'm going to close this as WONTFIX, but please reopen it if I haven't
appreciated the problem you're solving.
