Kai Zheng commented on HADOOP-11840:
------------------------------------

This will follow on HDFS-8156 when supporting multiple schemas.

Copied some discussion from HDFS-8156 with [~szetszwo]:

    > Could two schemas having the same name but different set of logical
parameters?
We should avoid such schemas in a system. Will update the document
reflecting this thought.
    > Should two schemas having the same set of logical parameters but
different names be considered the same?
We should also avoid such schemas. Will update the document reflecting this
thought.

> For example, a schema could have an empty options and another schema has all
> the fields are the same except that options has NUM_DATA_UNITS_KEY =>
> numDataUnits. Then, these two schemas are considered as not equal.
