OK, if this is a regression rather than an incorrect Javadoc, I'm OK with the
sorting. +1 on the patch, assuming javadoc and checkstyle warnings are
spurious. I'd like it to go back to 2.6 and 2.7 as well, and will backport it
if you don't have the time.
