Is there a better place than common-user for my question about fixed length separators?
I am currently using a space separator for hadoop streaming using -Dstream.map.output.field.separator=' ' \ -Dstream.num.map.output.key.fields=1 \ Is there a way to fix the length at 13 bytes using the command line or do I need to write my own fixed length separator routine?
