I think you can go on on head. We can adjust stuff there too, if any.

Sounds good. I'm pretty sure the latest (big) update didn't affect the
API bits we care about for [vfs], but I'll take a look nevertheless.
BTW, where is maven getting the compress snapshot from? Its compiled
with JDK 1.5 settings. The snaps on ibiblio seem 1.4 bound.
