Hi all, I have done a little research on goal-oriented requirements engineering, and found out that the tool, Grail, that supports these activities, is not yet released to the public. Which makes the technology quite difficult to implement.
Nevertheless, it seems like the open-source community is mostly aimed at a prototyping type of style to find the requirements from the members of the community. This is a good thing, I believe, as long as documentation is in synch with the code. Jeff, I understand that there were UML diagrams from the time when periodicity was a part of Turbine(?). Are the UML diagrams now up-to-date with the current code? Anyway, are they available from CVS, because I did not find them when I looked for them. Going away now to ski in the mountains for a week, looking forward to hearing from you again. sincerely, Peter Odus --- Jeff Prickett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> skrev: > > > Hello everyone: > I just want to update everyone on the status of > periodicity. > > Bottom line is it looks good for a release of 0.0.1 > near the end of March. > The release will be targeting developers mostly as > we wont be very far > along the development curve. > > The code currently saves the Event object to a MySQL > database, the > security subsystem has not been completed but it is > partially there, no > work has been done on the test templates. > > Notes about release 0.0.1 > > 1.
