a simple document walking through an example program using the API would be a very helpful addition. > I saw a need, I wrote some code. See how that works? There were bugs, I > fixed some code. Remember how it > works? i hear what you're saying, absolutely, i've been on that side of the fence. that being said, not every user is going to have the time or ability to fix the things they perceive to be broken, or do it well - but that shouldn't discourage them from making suggestions. anyway, attached is a short usage sample document for HttpClient. i'll see about fleshing it out if anyone has any comments. - donald (oh, and one more minor gripe - getting all of the necessary libraries and such to simply get the xdoc target to build was more of a chore than at least some prospective contributors would be willing to go through. i've always been a big fan of self-contained projects that either come with all required libraries or can download them when needed.)
