http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14523 SetNextRule can't convert type authomatically [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-11-23 03:19 ------- Unfortunately, the code you suggest will not work. The two-arg version of ConvertUtils.convert() takes a String and a Class, whereas the first argument inside SetNextRule is actually an Object. And, arbitrarily converting this to a String will cause failures in many existing use cases for Digester that really do need the objects pushed on the stack not to be modified. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
