Phil,
Brent never replied about my patches to his bisection code, and now I have an
(as-yet untested) implementation of Ridders' method, which is a simple but
substantial improvement on bisection and not as complex as Brent or its
descendants. Should I just create attachments in Bugzilla so folks can examine
my code?
