Rory, Minimally clean up and post to the list for sure. I'm not against two quick releases if there in enough to release. So if things get delayed in merging your changes, we can just follow up with a quick 1.2 release or something if it even comes to that. Your additions sound pretty valuable. I know there has been some inqueries about enhanced support for nntp.
